I got this cotton tie for my tall 8yo son, and it's a great addition to his tie collection! We have a variety of zip up, velcro, and snap closure ties, and the snap closure ties are nice because they don't fall down like the zip up ties do. My son loves the orange color, which is fun without being obnoxiously bright, and the 9-12 year old length has some room for my son (52" tall) to grow into it. It'll probably fit him for quite a few years, and for your average height child I think the sizing is spot on with their recommended ages.

We love Otis+Oliver ties! We have multiple. They're a great quality and the prints/colors are always so cute. I love this orange color. It's subtle and sunny and not too bright. My 18-month-old son son loves wearing it to church and around the house!
