I ordered this tie in the Berlin plaid pattern for my husband. The colors are vibrant and versatile, making it easy to pair with just about anything in his wardrobe. It’s well-made, holds its shape, and works for everything from formal events to everyday wear. He’s already found excuses to style it multiple ways, so it’s safe to say this one’s a win!My Husband's Stats for Reference: 6'5", athletic build, typically wears an XL in shirts. My Star Scale:5 Stars: Must-have—add to cart immediately!4 Stars: Get it—without regret!3 Stars: Add to list—think it over.2 Stars: Has potential—comes with issues.1 Star: Nope—hard pass!
Really nice tie, not overdone or fake looking/ feeing. Has nice weight and fabric and the color way is well done. It’s also not overly skinny.
Great necktie. Super soft and excellent quality. A little thicker than your average slim/skinny tie, but it looks and feels really nice. Love the one particular designer-looking print I got as well. Very fashionable.
This pattern (& there's nearly a dozen to choose from, all relatively understated and attractive) has a similar look to the classic Burberry pattern, only enlarged slightly. The tie is a thick cotton, with a pale blue denim/linen back that's gives a very very classy summer vibe, almost like seersucker. Pairs well with almost any colored shirt (though I found white to look the best in my opinion), as well as any blazer.
I'm loving the jumbo-sized plaid on this tie. Guys have so little in business attire that they can have some fun with, and ties are basically it. So when you find a tie that stands out and makes a statement, you go for it.The fabric is quite bulky, though. It says 100% cotton but it feels and sews up like a medium-weight worsted wool. That means if you tie a knot that's anything more complicated than an Oriental knot or Four-in-Hand, it's going to make the knot too bulky, and this tie doesn't have the width at that point to cover a bulky knot. Keep the knot simple, and you'll be fine.
