Yes, it's a "skinny" tie—and wholly fitting for a slim guy like me—but it's also thicker than most ties. That's not a problem, but if like me and you're used to tying a larger knot like a half-Windsor or bigger, you might consider a smaller knot for this one so it doesn't bulk up.I'm a fan of cotton/linen textures when I'm wearing less formal outfits, and this tie doesn't disappoint. It's much more pleasing than a polyester that just looks like untextured plastic. The "Miami" colors and design give some nice warmth with the orange and pink on the off-white background (or you might see the pink as red overlaid on off-white). In the listing's first pictures of the tie by itself, the background color looks like a cream color, darker than the off-white that appears in the pictures with the model. The lighter off-white is more accurate. The gamut of diagonal stripe widths is a good range for the width of the tie. Some ties are made from fabric with design elements that don't suit a tie size or shape—or the body of the wearer—but this one's good on that front.I'd say they did right with this tie.
